iPod Touch, All Of The Media Ability!
When I heard the iPod Touch was coming in 8GB and 16GB flavors, I was ecstatic. One of the things I loved about the iPhone was the fact that it had an awesome display that was interactive. One idea I had was to load it up with all of the photography instructional videos and posing video clips from previous shoots, with me on new and upcoming shoots.
I mean, how else to better show someone new you are working with, how you'd like them to pose, than by showing them a video clip of someone else having done the same pose? It's great.
Until the iPod Touch arrived, I was resigned to saving up for an iPhone, but now that the iPod Touch is here, I'm wondering... what am I waiting for? Best of all, it's available for pre-order from a variety of channels, including the Apple store.
A Portable Reference Tool
With the iPod Touch's ability to display various media formats(html,pdf,video,picture), it can be used as a portable reference tool. Maps, schedules, poses, metering recipes, photoshoot site layouts, and as a quick tool to record some idea shots and record either a textual note or a verbal dictation. How cool and useful is that? Very. It's good to go, get it. It's a great tool for the job.
