Why Did No One Tell Me About Howard Schatz!?
Howard Schatz, Not Just Another Photographer
It was only by pure chance, that I caught a radio interview with amazing photographer, Howard Schatz. He was talking about his new book, "H2O", when he started describing the painstaking steps he took to produce the photographs and edit them, from some tens of thousands down to a mere couple hundred, then down to just a bit under that. That's some serious editing.
Then, I went and took a look at his gallery: http://www.howardschatz.com
Check it out. You won't be disappointed. I am in love with his underwater photography, especially with the suspended hair and flowing textiles. The visuals are extraordinary!
